Dear Alumni of the United Nations Summer Academy,
The United Nations Summer Academy will once again welcome participants from the United Nations, governments, civil society, academia, youth-led groups, and the commercial sector to engage in vigorous conversations and information exchanges around the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. From 27 June to 1 July 2022, this amazing event will take place.
This year’s topic is ‘Pathways to Sustainable Transformation.’ It will take a cross-sectoral approach to sustainable development, concentrating on essential issues such as health and well-being, social protection, economic transformation, and climate action. Participants will examine how systems thinking, future thinking, and design thinking might be used to solve these difficulties in a complex and dynamic environment.
To ensure that highly qualified individuals have the opportunity to attend, the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) is offering 62 full scholarships that cover all costs associated with the five-day online learning event.
The very competitive selection procedure assembles an elite group of development actors. The course includes meaningful expert inputs, hands-on collaborative participant interactions, and engaging networking areas where participants may share their knowledge and learn from peers from all around the world.
We sincerely request that you, as alumni of the United Nations Summer Academy, share this opportunity with your network. You are our ambassadors who can attest to the program’s excellence, and we need your assistance in identifying individuals who might benefit from the program.
Selected individuals will get full scholarships. Please visit https://www.unssc.org/courses/un-summer-academy for further information and to register.
Scholarship application deadline: 13 May 2022
Applications for normal seats (without a scholarship) must be submitted by 13 May 2022.
Additionally, we would appreciate your sharing UN Summer Academy’s social media posts on Linkedin, Facebook, and Twitter.
